Good game - Needs iPad version

I enjoy the game; there really needs to be an iPad version though.

Five stars.

This is the best game of this type on the app store. You have to be into this style of game to fully appreciate everything the devs have done right. Im glad that you guys still do updates as well. This game has plenty to offer and there are some good expansions if you want more. It feels like a turn based version of elder scrolls daggerfall lol. Get it. Its fun.

A amazing game

Ok yes the graphics are a bit old but it really good. If you like elder scrolls you will like this game. Its got this huge massive world for you to explore. Lots of side quest and a good story line. Many items to equip and potions to make. Plus tons of expansions for just this game. Theres so much more things in this game but that would take a while to tell. If you bye this you will get your moneys worth (if you like RPGS).

Well worth the money

This game has shocked me, it was put together very well, is an intricate and daunting RPG, and for a mobile game, is almost more than I could hope for. Keep up the good work Chillingo.

Best thing on the app store

I dont know how its not more popular

First mobile game Ive ever been addicted too

Mobile gaming is crap, and thats a fact. This game wowed me in every turn of the adventure. Better storyline than all elder scrolls games besides morrowind, excellent turn based combat system, plenty of non-terrible DLC for more, and very challenging. 10/10 best thing thats happened to mobile gaming

Fantastic and old school and addictive

How iOS games should be done.

Still Playing

I started playing this game and its expansions when they first came out, and Im still playing today. So many quest, and such beautifully drawn screens. Old school on the go. Ive down loaded hundreds of other apps but always come back to The Quest. If you are reading this Redshift, please dont stop making expansions.

If you want a portable skyrim...

throw your money at this game. its worth it. Im dont look no further this game will give what your looking for. Im guessing you want an elder scrolls game or a dragon age type game with lots of exploration and side quests and cool monsters. this is it, there isnt more to say. if you want a portable skyrim this isnt it but man its pretty close.

Reminds me of old fantasy games

This game is great if youre looking for something classic like Daggerfall the turn based combat is better than expected and I love playing this game besides CoC this is the only game I really play

Id give it 10 stars if I could

I got hooked on classic rpgs as a kid while watching my uncle play Might & Magic VI on his old IBM desktop computer. The whole aesthetic of the game charmed me in a way that no modern first person rpg has been able to recreate. If you liked M&M 6-8, or The Elder Scrolls II Daggerfall then this is definitely a series for you. Im blown away by the level of detail, love, and depth in this - a game that was originally designed for freakin Palm Pilot PDAs! I plan on beating this and then gladly purchasing every single expansion - Redshift is doing a wonderful thing with this series. So what are you waiting for? Quit reading and but that "Buy" button already

Please add mac support

This has always been one of my favorite games, and I would love if this could be converted so as to be playable on my computer. Please see to this! Brilliant experience. If you havent bought it, buy it now!

Great game

I wish u could find more games in the App Store like this. No in app purchases , old school rpg format. Doesnt need an Internet connection.

Amazing sandbox game

The Quest is an awesome sandbox style game that allows you to explore where ever you want to go. Its my favorite RPG on iOS.

One of the best games on IOS

To be honest I didnt know what to expect when I bought and started playing this. I had seen a video of a few minutes of gameplay but I didnt expect this game to get me hooked like Skyrim to it so quickly. I am really impressed with this game because it seems almost like you are playing a 10/10 ranked game from a console when u are not. If u like the Elder Scrolls series, old school rpg open world games, or just want to have a unique experience with a game on IOS then look no further. Also, no internet or cell service is required to play and save in this game which is awesome.

sexist

Honestly who is writing the dialogue for these games, a 14 year old boy or a socially awkward adult. As a woman who loves rpg, this is one of the most sexist Ive played. From the awkward prostitutes you go to for attribute training your player having to use dialogue like, "give me a little kiss" or "your perfume smells like fish" to the one night stands and constantly objectifying women.. Its latent hatred of women and I dont want to financially support it. I would have left a positive review of some aspects of the gameplay, but the misogyny has throughly turned me off. Women play rpgs too. Dont alienate us.

The business

One of the best RPGs on the iPhone, with deep content. Well worth the money. Amazing support. Look at the version number - 18.6! Dont play freemium crap, play this.

Not worth the money. Its boring and badly animated.

Classic RPG and perfect on iPad!

This game is epic. I dont usually review iOS games but being there was only 1 review for this game and its negative so I felt like I needed to let you guys know how good this game is. Yes its an older game so of course the graphics are gonna be dated. But the amount of content here is amazing, especially for an iOS game. And its really good content. If you are a fan of old school RPGs like wizardry, or might and magic, you need to buy this now!

The only true RPG worth some time on iOS

The Quest is a effectively a turn based 3D open world role playing game. That being said, youd think this game would be a dime a dozen, right? Well no. The AppStore is utterly lacking in the RPG department compared to other similar application networks, especially ones that have the kind of depth needed to keep it on your system for more than 2 hours. The Quest, however, somehow delivers on this in a spectacular way. Now, I cant speak for the DLCs, but the main game is HUGE and worth the time to explore and build in. Open ended class system reminiscent of Morrowind and a world to boot give the game something that RPG players can hardly find in AAA games for PC these days. Given the time, The Quest will keep you entertained for as long as you want it to. My only true gripe can be chalked up to the low visual fidelity considering this game has been available since I had my original iPod Touch. A little update in that regard would bring some new life to this already lively and fulfilling role playing experience
